Welcoming your first baby into the world is one life's most exciting moments, and Manny and Amanda took it to the next level by waiting to find out which gender they were going to have. Amanda was glowing and Manny was beaming, both so excited to meet their new baby! We set out for Pearl Street in Laguna Beach to take some pregnancy photos and we could not be happier with how they turned out. Incorporating their Mexican heritage into their maternity photos was the perfect vibe for this beach shoot. They have since welcome a sweet baby boy into the world, can't wait to meet you buddy!

Families That Skate Together Stay Together- Orange County Family Session /  by Cyd Weeks

Sometimes your neighbors are just way cooler than you, but rather than feel stink about it, document it! I met the Lujans back in high school at a really cool Bible study, where after the study we'd eat pizza and skate the ramp in the back yard.  Kindness and creativity seems to flow thru their veins, it always has. Damin is a seriously talented graffiti artist, talented skater and just seriously nice guy, and Michele on top of homeschooling her beautiful girls has taken her passion for art to Open House Creative where she and her business partners help us less talented folks glean from their artistic genius. 
Michele had envisioned this shoot for a while and made these masks from newspaper and modpodge! I was just fortunate enough to document it in some crazy good golden light down in the Santa Ana River bed! Enjoy!
